Become an Advocate for FWCC
The work described in our Lunch & Learn series does cost money and they are being funded with a global campaign of 1.25 million dollars. The good news is that we have already raised over $800.000. We need your help with this grassroots phase of the campaign, and we can make it very easy for you to become an advocate for FWCC with your Yearly Meeting, Monthly Meeting and/or Church.
Here are the materials we will review with you in a training session on May 17. Please register to attend. We’ll provide an overview of the campaign, and then review the following:
Invitation to be an advocate for FWCC & tips for being an advocate
Letter to meetings
Meeting ask assessment form
If you can’t make it for the training, please contact Diane Zappas, dianez@fwccamericas.org, and she can help you one on one. Thank you for all you do for Friends!
If you attended the 2023 FWCC Americas Section Meeting, we hope you were inspired! The theme of the event was“Becoming the Quakers the World Needs,” and the Bible study themes focused on the great commandment to love God and one another. The workshops also centered this Biblical theme and were focused on building relationships. See more about the event in the links below!
