Digital Quaker Glossary and Bilingual Training Services Information Session

Online and One In-Person Event|September 26 - December 19, 2024
26Sep2024

Do you speak Spanish? KaSwahilli? Any other languages Quakers speak? Are you interested in learning more about FWCC’s Digital Quaker Glossary?

There are Quaker words that don’t translate easily from English to Spanish, and Spanish words that don’t translate easily into English. We’re starting a digital online Quaker glossary to solve for this, and you’re invited to be part of our journey.

We’re crowdsourcing content to be sure we have the relevant meanings of all Quaker words in all languages. We’re starting with Spanish. Whether you’d like to just stay informed about this work, or if you’d like to join the digital creation, you are welcome to join us for this online experiment!

The first sessions will be introductory, and we will be adding more sessions for the next phase of the project for those who are interested in getting involved.
