Love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22:36.

Ubuntu is not just a word in the Zulu language in South Africa it’s a lifestyle emphasizing community, connection, and interdependence. It resonates strongly with the Quaker values of simplicity, wholeness, community, equality, and peace and the biblical
emphasis on loving God, appreciating creation, and treating others as we would like to
be treated.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do
not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ,
and individually members one of another.
Romans 12:4-5

The World Quaker Day worship this Sunday is free, and we encourage everyone to donate as led if you are able. A portion of every unrestricted gift given to this campaign goes toward sending a Friend from the Global South to South Africa for the hybrid World Plenary next year.
