Job Description
The Friends World Committee for Consultation, Section of the Americas seeks an experienced and passionate Program Director to join our small, friendly, bilingual, and successful team nurturing faith, hope, and resilience.
Quaker Connect is an exciting new program of the Section of the Americas dedicated to the renewal and flourishing of the Quaker movement, with over five years of funding already secured from the Lilly Endowment, Shoemaker Fund, and FWCC.
Quaker Connect is designed to help Friends meetings and churches to try new experiments and learn from each other how to connect the depths of our Quaker tradition and the breadth of our Quaker community with the living reality of our local context under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
As the founding Program Director, you will have a unique opportunity to influence the program design and impact. You will lead all aspects of the program implementation, supported by a superb team of staff, consultants, and professionals to manage finances, design, logistics, and evaluation. You will get to develop and deliver new content to Friends who also have a passion for Quaker congregational renewal. You will get to travel to Friends meetings and churches throughout the Americas to engage new applicants and support ongoing program participants.
